Heather
Scurlock - President
Heather attended Farragut High School and graduated from the University
of Tennessee Knoxville. Heather and her father Ray Evans created SafeT
and began their business venture in 1999. Heather is President at SafeT
and oversees all sales, service, and installation staff.

Ray
Evans - Corporate Manager
Ray is a long-time Knoxville resident, having attended West High School
and UT. Ray has been married to his wife Scarlett, his high school sweetheart, for 40 years. He is an entrepreneur, having created and
managed several successful businesses in the East Tennessee area. At
SafeT, Ray primarily works with sales and design staff on new and
ongoing SafeT projects. |
Dan
Hoskins - Commercial Sales Manager -

Dan grew up in Claiborne County and attended UT. Dan began his
career in electronics in 1983 and worked for 5 years as an electronics
technician. Over the next 15 years, Dan has started, owned and operated
security, fire alarm and specialty electronics firms. Dan joined SafeT
in 2000 as the company's senior estimator and consultant for commercial
systems. Dan has designed, installed and serviced a wide
range of electronic systems, and is widely
recognized as one of East Tennessee's foremost authorities on fire alarm
and commercial security systems. |
Tim
Barding - SafeT Service And Installation Manager
Tim grew up in Kingston,
Tennessee, and joined the Marine Corps
where he was trained as an aircraft electrician and acquired his
electronics background. After his period in the armed forces, Tim moved
to Cherry Point, North Carolina to take a position as an Electronics
Quality Assurance Inspector with a large federal contractor. Tim then
moved to the security and fire alarm industry in 1997, and joined SafeT
in 2003. In his role at SafeT, Tim
supervises and oversees all service and installation of SafeT's
growing list of commercial accounts. |
Bob Dotson - Residential A/V Sales Manager

Bob grew up in Virginia where he began at age 14 in the Audio
Video field with a local TV shop and developed into Sales Manager of 2
stores. He studied Business Administration in College, and served in
the Army where he worked in the Pentagon in Washington, DC. In 1993,
Bob and his wife Brenda moved to Tennessee. In 1999, Bob and Brenda
formed Sound Advice 4U which became one of the most respected Custom
Audio / Video companies in the Knoxville area. Bob joined SafeT
Systems, Inc. in 2009 and enjoys a relaxed and personal sales approach.

Jeremy
Scurlock - Audio-Video Service And Installation Manager
Jeremy worked for six years as a trim carpenter and residential
construction foreman, where he learned the ins and outs of home
construction and remodeling. Always interested in things technical,
Jeremy joined SafeT in October 2008 and quickly moved up to become
SafeT’s manager of audio-video technicians. In this position Jeremy is
in charge of planning new A-V projects, scheduling technicians, and
overseeing all A-V service calls and new installations. |
Allan Ross - Residential A-V Project Manager
Allan grew up in Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas State University in 2000. He moved to Knoxville in 2003 where he immediately began working in the custom home theater industry. As an IT Systems Specialist, Allan has experience in networking, audio/video, home theater installation, and whole house control and automation. Allan has seven years of audio/video experience and over 10 years of computer and networking experience Allan joined SafeT Systems in 2010. Allan works directly with Bob Dotson assisting in designing the jobs, making sure the new A-V projects are planned out from beginning to end, Allan also works in the field as a lead technician as well as runs service calls. |
